September 2025 Newsletter

We're back!

As summer comes to a close and the 2025/26 academic year begins, this newsletter serves as both a welcome back and an introduction to this year’s WiF. A new board and ambitious plans lie ahead. Stay tuned!

September Recap

  • Fall Recruitment: We started the year off strong, receiving many applications and meeting prospective members at Associations on Display and our recruitment aperitivo. We can't wait to welcome many of you to the network!

  • Internship Ready: We kicked off the month with a workshop where members shared insights from their summer internships across IB, PE, Quant, and Consulting. Hearing about their day-to-day responsibilities firsthand provided valuable insights into the intern experience. It was a great opportunity for our second years to discover where their interests lie and start planning their own applications for next summer.

Don’t miss out on our social media where we post our weekly tips, market news and market quizzes as well as stories of women that keep inspiring us!

Last Year's Highlights

WiF Meets...This year, we had the amazing opportunity to visit Cinven’s Milan office and participate in an interactive Investment Committee, where we practiced LBO modeling and pitching. We also met with WiF alumna Francesca Pittaccio from Apollo’s Wealth Management division, gaining valuable perspectives on navigating today’s evolving financial landscape. Stock Pitch SpotlightTogether with BSFS, we hosted an exciting Stock Pitch Competition, where teams valued Airbnb and Booking Holdings. Members presented their ideas to a panel of judges, getting great practice in both analysis and presenting. Congratulations again to our winning team for their performance!Panel and InsightsOn May 5th, we welcomed leaders from Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan for a panel discussion on how creativity drives dealmaking in today’s volatile markets. A special thank you to our speakers and moderator, Prof. Maurizio Dallocchio, for the exciting event!
